Doyle Women’s & Children’s Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Throughout my career (Shop Girl Number One), I’ve had the good fortune of working with a number of charities throughout the country that make a world of difference. Giving back is something important to me, and therefore to URBANcoast. Recently, I had the opportunity to meet Ryan Nece who attended my One & Done Fundraiser. We then created an invitation for his fundraiser it included a quote that inspired me and summarized why I am so committed to giving: “NEVER MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE, AS YOU MAY MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE”. At the Coast, we support numerous local charities, however, the non-profit organization we are completely committed to is the Doyle Women’s & Children’s Health Initiative at Morton Plant Mease Hospital. Our community is blessed to have one of the top fifty hospitals in the country located in our area. In March of 2010, we hosted a fundraiser called the ”eMason One & Done Celebrity Tennis Pro-Am” to assist in the renovation of underwriting hospital room’s and improving services for women’s and children’s health care.
Under the gallery page, you can see photos of not only the logo we created as well as photos from the eMASON One & Done Celebrity Tennis Pro-Am. The hospital room we raised monies for was dedicated in the name of four Doctor’s who have provided outstanding care to not only me but to to many others in the community: Dr. Chrisoula Kiriazis, Dr. G. William Lazenby (my Dad), Dr. John Ofenloch, and Dr. Adam Rosen.
We will continue to feature local charities who make an impact in our community. Also, we will continue to offer specials and earmark monies that will benefit women’s non-profit initiatives.
